HISTORY OF 100+ MILLENNIALS WHO CARE
Michelle Denno, Founder and Chairperson of 100+ Millennials Who Care
From a young age, Michelle has been involved with various types of charitable work. Friends always approached her asking, ‘how can we help?’ and that sparked her thinking. In 2018, Michelle felt a calling and took action to launch 100+ Millennials Who Care. She recognized millennials want to help but may not know where or how to do so. She put together a Steering Committee of friends and family who shared a similar vision. Together, they created and launched 100+ Millennials Who Care. Michelle’s goal is to keep expanding and growing 100+MWC and to continually support local charities.

HISTORY OF THE 100 WHO CARE MOVEMENT
The 100 Who Care concept started with Karen Dunigan out of Jackson, MI. needing to fulfill a fundraising goal of $10,000 for new baby cribs to help mothers in need. She came up with the idea to call 100 people to donate $100 each. After a few phone calls and an immediate meeting, in one hour she raised $12,800 in donations to supply these mothers in need with a new crib. That is how the idea was born!
